This policy explains how Marathoner Asia (operated by Checkrace Co., Ltd.) uses cookies and local storage. We use them only as necessary for the website to function and stay secure. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” is data kept on your device. Both are used to remember settings or session state so the site works.

Your profile / race-log data syncs to a Runner ID account only when you sign in; otherwise it stays on your device.

4. Third parties
Related external services: Cloudflare (hosting/security), Clerk / Runner ID (login — only for signed-in users), Google Fonts (font delivery; sets no cookies). These operate under their own policies.
5. Managing / disabling cookies
You can control cookies via your browser settings (delete/block cookies) and clear local storage via DevTools → Application → Clear site data. Disabling essential cookies may break some features (e.g. login or saving your profile).
